The “Knowledge Update on Poultry Health and Nutrition” program is a comprehensive capacity-building initiative designed to address the challenges faced by poultry farmers in Africa.
Recognizing the critical role of poultry farming in ensuring food security and livelihoods, LIFA, in collaboration with partners like the Zoetis Foundation, has organized a series of seminars and workshops across multiple African countries.
Each session is tailored to the specific needs of the local poultry industry, focusing on areas such as disease prevention, biosecurity measures, nutritional strategies, and climate change adaptation. The program also emphasizes the importance of gender inclusion, with efforts to ensure significant participation from women and youth in the poultry sector.
